Joseph S. Cantrell, CPFA

As the President and CEO of Compass Capital Management, Joe Cantrell brings over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. After obtaining his FINRA General Securities Principal Registration in 2000, he has remained committed to supporting the growth and success of his fellow financial professionals while helping clients build and protect their wealth through every stage of life.

Joe’s areas of expertise include life insurance, asset management, retirement strategies, and business solutions. His approach is centered on thoughtful guidance, long-term relationships, and coaching clients toward financial security and confidence.

He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Mississippi State University’s School of Business and has earned the Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor (CPFA) designation through the National Association of Plan Advisors (NAPA). Joe also maintains Life, Health & Accident Insurance Licenses, as well as Variable Life Insurance and Annuity Licenses, and holds Series 6, 7, 24, 63, and 65 registrations.

Originally from northern Mississippi, just outside of Tupelo, Joe now lives in Mandeville, Louisiana with his wife, LeAnne, and their two sons, Cole and Jack. When he’s not working with clients or mentoring advisors, he enjoys running, reading, and spending quality time with his family.
