With over 44 years of experience, John “Pat” Golden has dedicated his career to helping clients achieve their insurance and retirement goals, aligning their financial plans with their hopes and dreams. Inspired by his father’s success in the insurance business, Pat began his journey in 1973 as a representative with New York Life. In 1990, he transitioned to Minnesota Life, continuing his mission to guide clients toward financial security.
Pat is a proud alumnus of Southeastern Louisiana University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree, and he holds the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation. He is also a long-standing member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, reflecting his commitment to professional excellence and ethical service.
What Pat enjoys most about his work is building meaningful relationships with clients and helping them realize their financial goals. His approach is grounded in the Golden Rule: “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.”
Outside of work, Pat is actively involved in his community. He is a member of the Chateau Golf and Country Club, the Southeastern Louisiana Baseball Alumni Association, and the Over the Mountain Club (OTMAC). In his free time, he enjoys playing golf and cherishing moments with his family.
Pat and his wife, Chris, reside in Kenner, Louisiana. Together, they have two children and two grandchildren, who bring joy and inspiration to his life and career.
