Edward F. Landry has been dedicated to helping families and small business owners grow and maintain their wealth since joining Compass Capital on December 13, 2008. As a Financial Advisor and Vice President of Finance, Ed takes pride in serving as a trusted steward for his clients, providing personalized strategies to help them achieve their financial goals.

Before joining Compass Capital, Ed gained valuable experience as a Regional Director with Planco Financial Services. His passion for his career is driven by the people and culture that have shaped his professional journey.

A native of New Orleans, Louisiana, Ed attended Ferncrest Grammar School, Clifton Ganus High School, and the University of New Orleans. He holds Life, Health, and Accident Insurance Licenses, as well as Variable Life Insurance and Annuity Licenses, equipping him with the tools to offer comprehensive financial guidance. Ed holds multiple industry registrations, having passed the Series 7, 63, 65 and 24 exams.

What Ed enjoys most about his work is the opportunity to make a positive difference in people’s lives. Guided by his philosophy that “Nothing worth having ever comes easy,” he approaches each client relationship with dedication and care.

Beyond his professional life, Ed is an active member of his community. He contributes his time and talents to organizations such as the Visitation of Our Lady Men’s Club, the Knights of Columbus, and the Jefferson Chamber of Commerce.

In his spare time, Ed enjoys traveling and immersing himself in new experiences. A lifelong learner, he once read an entire set of encyclopedias twice by the age of 10—a testament to his curiosity and commitment to knowledge.
