PROFESSIONAL: Benjamin Frank attended Southeastern Louisiana College in Hammond, LA and graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi with a BS in Marketing.  Ben began his career in the financial services industry in 1963 as a life insurance agent with Fidelity Union Life and retired from Home Life in 1991, after 28 years of service, where he was awarded Man of the Year in 1966.  He was a winner of the National Quality Award for 28 years and a Charter winner of the National Sales Achievement Award.  He obtained his Chartered Life Underwriter designation in 1969, his Chartered Financial Consultant designation in 1988, his Registered Health Underwriter designation in 1990, and his Registered Employee Benefits Consultant designation in 1991.  He was a member of the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) for 22 years.

PERSONAL: Ben was born in stonewall, MS and grew up in Tylertown, MS.  He has been married to Catherine Frank for 52 years and has three children; Elizabeth in Wellesley, MA, Rebecca in Alexandria, VA, and Ben Jr. in Metairie, LA.  Ben and Cathy have five grandchildren and six granddogs.

COMMUNITY: Ben served as co-chairman of Senator Ken Hollis’ Campaign Fund for 28 years.  He was a member of the Lakeside Hospital Board of Directors until they were bought out by HCA.  He was on the Board of Governors of the Lamplighter Club of New Orleans and a Charter Member of the Sugar Bowl Parade Committee.
